Erin has a goal of incorporating adventure and active community engagement for our youth, as well as periodic programing with local youth ministries. Erin is passionate about teaching discipleship amongst their peers, and she will continue Pastor Jim’s Flight School program for high school seniors.
Erin and her husband, Herbie McKee, were both born and raised in Henderson, and were married last May. Herbie has many fond memories of his time growing up in the Henderson First UMC youth group, and is excited to help his wife reignite the programs. They join the church with past membership from Wellspring Community Church and One Life Church of Henderson, KY.
Erin is also very passionate about community & holistic health. She was trained and certified from Body Works Massage Institute and Evansville Yoga Center, where she gained insight into holistic health methods. Through much prayer and counsel, she was convicted to design a Christian-focused massage and yoga practice, incorporating prayer and scripture-led health for the Spirit, Mind and Body.
She is now the owner and developer of her small business, called Yoga Alternative in downtown Henderson, which has expanded into a collaborative building space with several other Christian-focused alternative health coaches.
